On September 6, 2025, Boston Common came alive with the 15th Asian American Festival—a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and collaboration. Nearly a hundred volunteers worked tirelessly, from dawn setup to late-night cleanup in the rain, ensuring the festival ran seamlessly.
This year’s event featured a record 94 food, culture, and business booths, along with 37 stage performances ranging from Chinese opera to Indian dance, Vietnamese songs to martial arts. Children proudly performed and introduced cultural crafts, while photographers captured memories for the community.
Local leaders, consular representatives, and sponsors praised the festival’s mission: “to unite Asian communities and beautify our shared home.” Their presence highlighted the festival’s role as a true intercultural bridge.
Behind the colorful parades, music, and food were countless unsung heroes—organizers, volunteers, and families—who gave their time and energy with resilience and heart. Even in pouring rain, they stood firm, leaving Boston Common spotless by nightfall.
More than a celebration, the festival was a testament to unity, dedication, and cultural pride—a shining moment for the Asian American community and the city of Boston.
