AAAB's Adult ESOL Course helps non-native English speakers build confidence and fluency, improving daily conversation, social interaction, and professional communication.

Free or low-cost 10-week online course via Zoom or similar virtual platform

What You’ll Learn:

Everyday conversation for real-life situations (shopping, dining, workplace
Pronunciation, active listening, and effective speaking skills
Social interaction for community events, networking, and casual gatherings

Teaching Style: Interactive, with role-playing, group discussions, and real-world scenarios led by experienced ESOL instructors

Who Can Join: Adults 18+ at any English level, with a focus on Asian American and immigrant learners

My name is Joseph Au, and I am formally addressed as Mr. Au by my students. I currently serve as an ESOL instructor for the Boston community, in a program jointly sponsored by two nonprofit organizations. Previously, I taught Survival English in the Quincy community for fourteen years. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to supporting adult learners, advancing language education, and fostering their successful integration into the community.

本人名為 Joseph Au（區老師），學生們均以 Au 先生稱呼我。現任職於波士頓社區的 ESOL 英語課程，由兩家非營利機構聯合贊助。此前，我在昆士社區（Quincy）教授 Survival English（生存英語）長達十四年。多年來，我始終致力於協助成年學習者提升語言能力，深化教育服務，並促進他們在社區中的成功融入。
